The round hole perforation is the most popular type of perforated pattern used and is manufactured in coils or sheets. We have a full and comprehensive finishing service for all of our materials including cutting, annealing, slitting, forming, bending with a return or radiused and welding. Perforated Metal Aperture:
In general it is advisable to use a hole size larger than the material thickness. The closer the hole size and material thickness come to a 1 to 1 ratio, the more difficult and expensive the process is. Dependent on the material type, smaller hole size to material ratios can be achieved. 60 Degree Staggered Centers are the most popular of all pattern types because of their inherent strength, their multitude of varied open areas, and their attractive appearance
An alternate to the traditional 60 degree staggered centers patterns. 45 degree patterns are an option for those looking for something different.
A popular arrangement, straight center round hole patterns are available in multitude of sizes and open areas. They are however, the weakest of the round hole patterns.
Square patterns provide some of the highest percent open area but are relatively low in strength, thus making them ideal for application requiring good visibility and through-put such as guards.

Hole center :
Hole center is the distance from the center of one hole to the center of the nearest hole in the next adjoining row.

Open area :
Obviously a hole size and hole pattern has to be chosen that meets the open area requirement of the application.Open area is the total area of the holes divided by the total area of the sheet and is expressed as a percent .Keep in mind that punching holes in a material add stresses that can result in distortion of the product. The higher the open area, the more material distortion takes place, especially when the perforated pattern is bordered by margins on all four sides.
Margins are the blank area along the edges of the sheet.The standard sheet is the minimum margins along the length and no margins along the width.
End patterns :
A finished end pattern is often more expensive than an unfinished end pattern . If not specified, unfinished end patterns will be offered.
There are tolerances on thickness ,bars,openings,flatness,and shering for perforated products.As with other manufacturing processes, tolerances tighter than the standard tolerances will result in increased cost. You should specify a specific tolerance,so we can give you a precise prudoct.If not,we will according to standard tolerance.
